Why jpcsp black screen

By madfrog , October 18, in General. I have tried changing the jr6 to jr7. I need the 64bit version of the emulator I downloaded the emulator off their website worked fine,. There are a couple of questions to address here. When you say that you cannot use the emulator in GameEx, what is the exact nature of the problem? The other factor that will assist us in any GameEx related troubleshooting endeavor will be to provide a copy of your emulator configuration, and most likely a copy of your log after having encountered the issue in GameEx.

Please refer to this thread for further details. Java 7 version is now out. The psp emu does not work outside of gameex just black screen when load rom. But the newer version of it does work which is not in gameex. Have you installed the version of JPSP you need directly from the site? Edit: Oh actually it's not "working only for first projection matrix", more like there's way more data than 1F after for one projection matrix maybe even used for everything. Increasing the range works, so instead I guess we should stop increasing it before 0x1F?

Yup works great. Should I open PR with this or it's too risky? Didn't really saw any problems, but again in most games that code will not even run. Maybe also adding other matrices? Seems clear that either this is how the hardware behaves, or the game is just buggy.

I have a hard time seeing how it could break other games, unless there are games that rely on loading twice and then counts on the SECOND matrix to be the valid one But in that case, assuming there's not another emulation bug that break the matrices, Red Star shouldn't work.

It should be easy to make a test program and run it on the hardware to check the correct behavior too. Skip to content. Star 6. New issue. Jump to bottom. Linked pull requests. Copy link. This didn't work in 1. Can you give me a debug log when running with the PSP setting?
