Does anyone play gta without cheats
So I had no idea what was going on. Months later, after I had already given up and loaded a different save from earlier in the game and got past that point, I found out why my game had broken. It turns out that mission becomes bugged and impossible to beat if you activate the riot code and save your game at any point before starting it.
The reason is that Mad Dogg spawns in the mission as a pedestrian and activating the riot code, even before the mission, screws him up and causes him to jump.
In fact, many can become much harder, impossible or instantly fail if you cheat. The website GTA Boom posted a list of some of the other potential side effects that can occur if you cheat in San Andreas.
For example, if you use a cheat code to recruit anyone as a gang member and then start a gang war, those members will attack the player and make the event much harder to complete. Doing this will blow up the motorcycle you are riding, causing you to fail the mission. Other codes can leave cars hanging in the air or trap C. You can even crash the game if you spawn a jetpack in just the right spot using the jetpack code.
If you Google the issue with Mad Dogg or similar cheat related problems, you will find old forum posts from back in and of players complaining about this problem. That's why we're here to help, by providing a complete list of GTA San Andreas cheats split into relevant sections, so you can quickly locate the codes you need to start building your OG reputation. Note that due to technical limitations and creative decisions, not all of the GTA San Andreas cheats have made it into the latest GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition releases, and where this is the case we've marked the codes accordingly.
Before you start using any GTA San Andreas cheats, you should make a save and ensure you keep it safe to return to later. This is because some of the effects they produce can become permanent, which may make further progress through the story difficult or even impossible without starting again from scratch. If you're on a recent version of the game then using Grand Theft Auto San Andreas cheats will also disable trophies or achievements, which obviously isn't desirable if you want to complete your collection of awards.
Entering GTA San Andreas cheats on consoles involves following the series of button presses listed, during regular gameplay and not while in a cutscene or paused. Bear in mind that these buttons will still perform their assigned actions while entering Grand Theft Auto San Andreas cheats, so you might want to enter them at a distance from pedestrians and vehicles just in case.
To cheat on PC you just have to type in either the phrase or short code using your keyboard, again when not paused or during a cutscene, though you may find the phrases easier to memorize. Slows down time while also increasing damage resistance, melee damage, and aim accuracy.
You take no damage, unless it's from explosions, falling, drowning, or shooting from police helicopters. All taxis have NOS and jump when you press the horn — this is usually the reward for completing the taxi missions. Asked 6 years, 7 months ago. Active 6 years, 5 months ago. Viewed 18k times. This question is overly broad. Multiple ways. First improve your gaming skills by spending more time playing GTA. Alternatively, you could use trainer technically you are not cheating. Add a comment. Active Oldest Votes. This is imbalanced as hell, it makes fire-based missions like Burning Desire where you unlock Denise as a girlfriend a tonne easier, and it makes using weapons like the Flamethrower and Molotov really easy.
I usually do this first thing after unlocking the Johnson house in Grove St. Find and 'date' the girlfriends You don't really even need to really go on dates with them that often unless you're a completionist like me. Save every couple of missions This one is pretty self-explanatory. Money There's entire guides everywhere online on how to get enough money in GTA, so I'll make this section brief. If you lose, load the game and try again.
If you win, save. Once unlocked, the burglary missions can be used to muster up cash quickly. Just find two houses relatively near each other, and park the van between. Run in, grab the TV, run out. Don't worry about noise.
The house resets once you enter a different house, and the TV nets you the most cash, just grab it and bolt. Taking Gang area. Simply from the amount of people to kill, as well as the income that spawns in Grove St. Also helps to level up your weapons skills. Roboi's Food Mart - By jumping on the bike outside the store near the Police station you'll be able to complete Courier missions from the supermarket.
There are other ways, but these are the quickest and easiest. Weapon skill Less important in the beginning, but definitely comes in handy later. Some weapons take longer to master than others. In general, Assault Rifles and Shotguns raise mastery fairly quickly, whereas Pistols and Machine Pistols take longer.
Not all weapons have a skill stat or can be 'mastered'. Lighter area can be used for smaller guns, as the enemies tend not to carry bigger guns.
Ammu-nation will occasionally unlock shooting range missions for different weapons, which can give a huge boost to most weapon's skills. Gang area I've mentioned it twice, so it must be important. Taking gang area is a tough but rewarding prospect: You get to practice your shooting skill Your in-game weapon skill increases You earn a lot of money If you get it all, you stop the random 'your 'hood is under attack!
Attacking: There are two areas that are hard to get because they are so small. Waves of enemies will spawn along the sidewaks behind the camera. Use this to force them to spawn where you want. The enemy A.
Use this to gauge when you need to back up and kite them some more. The stronger the gang colour, the stronger the enemy gang's response to your incursion. Start with the light-coloured areas, such as the industrial area south of Grove St Stretching from Cluckin' Bell over towards Caesar's gang's area , and also the beach and downtown areas, which are separated from the main suburbs.
Defending: I've found the easiest strategy is to inch forward into the area until you see them spawn, then lob Molotovs. Note that you aren't immune to Police stars when defending which you are when attacking , so watch out for the police as well. An enemy incursion always happpens along the line between your gang area and theirs. They will never 'deep strike' into the heart of your base.
Taking all the light-coloured industrial area south of Grove St for example, will stop enemy attacks from that direction. If you die whilst attacking or defending, the area will be 'contested' and show up in a lighter shade of a mix of both colours green and the enemy colour The Zero Missions I feel these deserve a special mention, as they play quite differently to most missions and bear a higher amount of difficulty in general. Mission 1: Air Raid By far, the hardest in my opinion.
